Small Business for Makers Class
Calling all super motivated makers and crafters. Ryelyn by Design has grown her business by 37% in 2024. Her goal for 2025 is go big or go home. She wants to grow another 30-40% this year. In order to do that she must organize, prioritize and hustle. If you are interested in this kind of business strategy and want to be given the same knowledge she has then sign up for this class.
You will go home with a ton of helpful information. Lists of her top shows, apps/websites, local resources and so much more. You will also spend part of your time making 2 to 3 goals to help crush your business success in 2025. I will help you with the steps to do that. This class is all about makers and crafters that want to move from a hobby style business model to a side hustle/ business that is getting them enough money to dream even bigger.
Class price is $50
This class includes a drink ticket and all needed supplies. You will also leave with a few class treats and business goodies. You can use the drink ticket during or after the class.

Beat the winter blues wellness fair
The 6th Annual Beat The Winter Blues Wellness and Craft Fair (free to the public) allows people the opportunity to come and meet the amazing people, providers, services, products, organizations etc. within our community that will help them take time out for themselves, their self-care, healing and rejuvenation as well as having some fun.
This is our sixth year and with we are excited to be in a new location (Westside Ball Rooms) and we are extremely excited to continue with the Wellness & Craft Fair allowing people from all over to stop in and visit our amazing vendors to support local small businesses and the community.

This is held at Best Buy located at Champlain mall in Plattsburgh NY.
Macrame at Chapter One
Learn to make your own plant hangers in this macramé class! Any level of knowledge is welcome. Tickets are $35 dollars and they can be purchased directly through Ryelyn by Design or at Chapter One Coffee and Tea downtown. In this workshop, instructor Ryelyn McKay will be teaching you:
-How to begin a macramé piece, including an overview of necessary materials.
-How to work several different macramé knots.
-How to incorporate a wooden ring and wooden beads.
-Leave with a finished plant hanger, and the know-how to design and create more pieces on your own.
Class fee includes:
Instruction and all the necessary supplies and materials, including cotton cord, a metal ring, and wooden beads.
Also included is a plant start and small pot. OR if you have a plant and pot your interested in making a macramé hanger for feel free to bring it or measure prior to class.
No prior experience necessary - beginners welcome!
