Embracing Growth and Change in 2025
As I step into 2025, the air feels electric with possibility. It was a whirlwind year that challenged myself and my little family in many ways. Now that the year is wrapping up, it’s time to pause, reflect, and move forward with intention. This year is all about growth and change—embracing new beginnings and charting a course towards big and new ideas.
Reflecting on the Past Year
2024 was a year of upheaval, adaptation, and resilience. Like many of you, I faced moments that tested my resolve and pushed me outside my comfort zone. Those challenges, though daunting at the time, laid the groundwork for transformation. They taught me lessons about perseverance, adaptability, and the power of embracing the unknown.
As the founder of Ryelyn by Design, a one-woman handmade jewelry business, I’ve experienced firsthand how growth often comes from challenges and hardship. One pivotal moment for me was when I realized that my excitement and motivation to move forward in 2024 came at a cost to some pretty important things in my life. My sweet family is the #1 thing that I will be putting first next year. Realizing this was a turning point that not only reshaped my perspective but also set the tone for what’s to come.
The Power of New Beginnings
New beginnings are a reminder that it’s never too late to reinvent ourselves. I have reinvented myself many times on my journeys around the sun. For me, this fresh start means focusing on growth and change—not just in a professional sense, but in every facet of my life. Sometimes this means leaving behind things you were hanging onto. It can also mean reinventing those same things.
In 2025, Ryelyn by Design will be making some exciting shifts. I’ll be replacing some of my in-person markets and sales with curated collections of jewelry, each thoughtfully designed and crafted to tell a unique story. This approach allows me to connect with my customers in a more meaningful way while showcasing my passion for creativity and craftsmanship. It also gives me more weekends to go on dates with my husband and support my two beautiful kids.
Looking Forward
Looking ahead to 2025, collaboration and learning new skills will take center stage. I’m thrilled to explore partnerships that inspire and challenge me, fueling both personal and professional growth. My first collection of 2025, launching on February 7th, will be a perfect example of this focus. Centered around a local singer we all know and love, Taylor Lavalley. This collaboration embodies the spirit of community and creativity that drives Ryelyn by Design. Look for my next update coming soon with highlights about the collections theme and style.
